Steering Committee

To ensure that we are equipped to successfully set up a tribute of remembrance to honor millions of people killed around the world during the horrific chapter of colonization, our fifteen-person Steering Committee comprises expertise and excellence in areas such as unatoned-for historical atrocities and transgenerational trauma; human rights; mental health; racial justice; racial healing, financial management; diplomacy; technology, fundraising and intersectionality practices. The Steering Committee is responsible for the global stewardship of UNCM’s mission, vision, and compliance with UN policies and standards. They establish appropriate and constructive working relationships with stakeholders and ensure the financial health of the initiative through fundraising and fiscal oversight.
